To be honest, I actually screwed up the day for the game. See... I had put High Society, forgetting that you need three players. I thought my daughter could handle it and, I'm sure, she probably could have, but we decided to scrap it for something else. While my husband's calendar says High Society, I adjusted my own calendar to be Parade. I'm glad I did, because it was a quick, thinky game that had a mechanic I really enjoyed.

The Joy of Gaming: December Challenge 2018 - Day 18: Parade
Parade is a game I saw a long time ago. I wanted it, but it was something like $80-$100, because it was out of print. I was keeping my eye on it, until finally I saw that it was getting a reprint. And today I got to play it.
