8 Days to Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi Apparel Challenge

Today was my exciting day that I just couldn't pass up. Sure, I layered on the apparel, but I had been waiting for this vest since I ordered it and I couldn't pass up going ALL out!

Today was my Wookie day! I had on my super sweet t-shirt that I ordered from TeePublic a while back. Then I added my Wookie Vest that I ordered from Hot Topic. I even have my Wookie Drink Cozy that a friend bought me a while back. Forget the reactions, I LOVE how I feel! 

Dare I be reflective for a second? I do dare... this whole process... picture taking and posting and doing all of this has given me a whole new perspective on myself. Like seeing myself from the other side of the looking glass. I might actually say there's a bit of confidence sneaking in that I've never really had before. And the best part is... I like the way I feel (and I didn't even have to shop at Men's Warehouse).

I bought this shirt when The Force Awakens came out, because, again, the holidays and all that. I'm not scared to admit that I do have a pile of clothes on my floor that I am sorting through daily as I reorganize my closet. I should probably be ashamed, but it's hard when you're trying to figure out what fits, what doesn't, what's your style, and what is not and/or what possessed you to ever add that to your closet in the first place.

So as I was looking for a shirt that I wanted to wear under a different Star Wars piece of clothing, I saw my ugly sweater shirt! I had been wondering what happened to it and had clearly put it into a pile of questionables, because of the size and it not fitting me last year. But here it is and I was really excited to wear it. YAY!!!

My daughter and I have always enjoyed Perler Beads. We've also really enjoyed the holiday packets that I find at Joanne Fabrics, so when I saw these winter ones, I was all over them. A few more stockings will have these, too. Maybe we'll even get it done tonight if I have time.

Was wearing something a little bit different today and I opted for some socks instead. From here on out, though, there'll be some jewelry and more t-shirts and maybe even a VEST! EXCITEMENT!
